Copenhagen has hundreds of attractions to visit. Therefore, it would be best to prioritize the places you would visit so that you don’t miss the cream of the lot. When it comes to attractions, Copenhagen is famous for Bakken, the oldest amusement park in the world was started in the 16th century, and if you are taking your family along, you cannot miss enjoying the rides here. Then there is the Copenhagen Zoo that boasts over 3,000 animals with more than 250 different species. Without concern for the type of climate outside, the zoo offers a hot and humid rain forest for you to get as close to nature. The Tivoli Gardens, the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek art museum, the Experimentarium science center and Rosenberg Castle are some of the other leading attractions you cannot afford to skip.

Copenhagen has some popular streets that appeal to shoppers from around the world. You can go street shopping on Stroget that consists of 4 streets, Ostergade, Amagertov, Vimmelskaftet and Frederiksberggade. These shopping streets offer jewellery stores, ateliers, fashion stores, souvenir stores, design stores and even second hand stores among hundreds of other products.

Copenhagen Cuisine

Once you have checked all the attractions of the city and done some shopping at its famous shopping streets, you can hit Brasserie degas in Trommesalen for its French cuisine, or Mikkeller in Viktoriagade for its Danish food, or Restaurant Radio in Julius Thomsens Gade for its Scandinavian cuisine. Copenhagen has over a thousand restaurants where you can enjoy every type of food.
